The Week In Rewind | 5-Dec-2010

A Danish Christmas tree illuminated with burni...

This week culminated with the re-introduction of the Christmas season to our house. For the first time, we decorated the outside of our house with Christmas lights. But not before Mrs. BD and I had a little disagreement over whether we should have white or colored lights on the house. We also bought our Christmas tree.

My annual contribution to the New Jersey economy when I purchased my Mountain Creek Triple Play Card. In all honesty though, it’s the perfect deal for me. Now that the twins are here (and aren’t capable of snowboarding, yet), three days at a local hill for the price of one and a half is a great deal.

I joined TheClymb.com, an invitation-only website that connects premium outdoor and sport brands with dedicated outdoor enthusiasts, athletes and professionals. Exclusive arrangements with their partner brands allow members access to pricing as low as 70% below retail on apparel, footwear and equipment from an elite group of premium manufacturers.  If anyone is interested in a membership, shoot me an email.

Sam over at CrabAppleNYC.com has some great stuff for sale up on his site.  Head on over and take a look.  Oh, and by the way, I stole this week-end wrap-up idea from Sam.  Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right?

Other than that, it was business as usual for me this week.  Work is hectic as usual and family life has been what you can imagine it is when you have twin 1.5 year old daughters, two full-size dogs, and a wife who works full-time!  Next week is a another week that I’m sure will be full of adventure.  Stay tuned.

* Let’s see if this weekly idea, unlike Just Think About It, sticks around for a while…
